Used to increase power consumption when installing LED lights for indicators, brake lights, and fog lights. One resistor per lamp. The resistance in a bulb is ~1ohm. Therefore, the resistor needs to handle quite a few watts to replace a bulb. A 21W bulb replaced by LED may require a 25W resistor to function. A resistor can become HOT, therefore it is recommended to mount it in contact with the car’s metal.
